THE STORY BEHIND SHELL'S SEAFOOD MARKET

Shell's is a family-owned seafood market. The owner, Brian Dilmar, is from the low country of Savannah, Georgia. He moved to Columbus in 2014 where he opened his first Seafood Market Castaway Seafood. He sold that business in 2020 but since the new owner's closed Brian still wanted his customer's to have that low country flavor. That brings his new business Shell's Seafood Market. Using a traditional boiled cooking method of using propane and large pots, We wanted the Fountain City to get a taste of that Savannah cuisine besides the traditional boils in bags or indoor steamers.
